Re: Friday Facts #164 - Nuclear power

Even old reactors don't explode as a simple failure. A confluence of catastrophic events must occur before a reactor will melt down. It's a common talking point used by opponents of nuclear power that "It could turn into a nuclear bomb" This is simply untrue. Nuclear reactors are mechanically ...

Re: Friday Facts #159 - Research revolution

One idea for multi-team spawns is that you may wish to have biome specific land regions with guaranteed quantities of given resources or tiles within the allocated region.

Take a look at tiberian sun's random map gen?

Re: Friday facts #157 - We are able to eat paper, but we don't do it

I would store the decorations, if they changed every time they were loaded, it would confuse me "I don't remember that being there". You recognize the patterns of decorations to be different parts of your base, it could be a little confusing.

Oh, hey, while we're on the subject of decoratives...
Have you considered adding cliff faces and ledges ala C&C 95/ RA1?

They did a great job of making the terrain feel 3D while not shifting the fundamentally flat nature of the terrain.

Re: [MOD 0.12.x] Terraforming - Bridges, Moats & Drawbridges

It seems kinda cheap just being able to completely deny access to the mobs, maybe add an ability for them to fill in a moat and cross it?
