After further testing...

12.7 ERROR - runs as background process

12.6 works
11.22 works (don't know what happened first time)

When 12.7 runs no config file is generated.
I copied the config folder/file from 12.6 over and changed fullscreen=true as a test - no success.
I also tried dropping the 12 ...

Behavior started after an update process (failed?).

Since then I have tried 12.6 zip, 12.7 zip, 11.22 zip, and 12.7 installer.

Factorio runs and has a process visible in taskmanager (using 20-30% cpu while idling).
No visible presence on screen or on the taskbar.

In quill's videos and other places there is a large beaker symbol for example on the crafter that is producing them.

Likewise the furnaces show a picture of steel or copper plates depending on what they are smelting at the time I think.

How do I turn this feature on in my game?
