Re: Friday Facts #438 - Space Age wrap up

I have a suggestion for next project, it is Factorio 3D mod. NOT A NEW GAME LIKE OTHER COPY CATS! The game would be the same under the hood, but the graphic presentation would be 3D like in the game King's Bounty the Legend.

Wow, did you feel that too? The poetic bewilderment of bug fixes list?

Re: Friday Facts #433 - Liftoff Initiated

So, we now have a jetpack in Factorio too. That saves the Spidertron in some situations. I hope the jetpack doesn't come too late in the game.

I also like the Space Age trailer.

Next expansion we will have a jetpack enabled Spidertron! It will be like a wolf spider, so it can leap distances it ...

Re: Friday Facts #427 - Combat Balancing & Space Age LAN

- I did not know PLD was worth it and nerver used it =[
- Tried to use combat robots but found them weak and complicated

I tried to not disable enemies, but this new nest health might be the last drop. Maybe I am slow or something, but I find the expansion rate and the spawning rate absurd.
- So ...

I was here wishing it was Friday already when I realized it is already Friday in Prague, Czechia !
That made me wonder which timezone they use to post it. I would be angry if I was in Prague and still hadn't my FF by breakfast...

Does anyone know the software he used to create the moving arm math proof of concept? Very impressive, half dozen slides and you have a moving arm! Imagine the time he saved not having to program that.

Re: Friday Facts #382 - Logistic groups

Hurray! Finally! That was such a pain for me that I created this account and made this post:

Their solution is similar to what I had in mind. They did not talked about conflicts, but I hope we can order the same item type in different groups.
I ...

Re: Friday Facts #380 - Remote view

Is the name a satire of the fake / stupid / psychic power "remote viewing" or is this a coincidence?

Ha! Prepare to be surprised brother, as psychic powers are on the rise and just in time for the new Earth. I understand how this old paradigm appealing game would attract people who would make ...

Re: Friday Facts #376 - Research and Technology

Greetings, just came to express my sentiments on the role play aspect of the trigger techs. I think people are forgetting the human looking playable character is a spacecraft survivor with engineering skills. He also builds freaking complex machines from scratch. I am very sure he grasps oil like ...

All it was ever needed...

I understand that the game has an old mentality flavour. Big ones being the destruction of the planet/environment to make stuff, and the disregard for life.
Not sure if intentionally, but it shows on the military industry side of it. The amount of wasted resources to craft a variety of methods to ...

Re: Logistic request interface

Greetings Koub!
I agree, and I think my suggestion kind of address that, but the way I proposed handling conflicts was not the best for this scenario.
One thing that perhaps was not clear, is that on this implementation you can request the same item in different lines, instead of getting the message ...

Logistic request interface

Each line would have three buttons: Activate, Deactivate, and Flush.
- An activate line would function like request lines are working right now.
- An deactivate line would function like it did not exist.
- A flush line would behave as a trash line.

The benefit of that implementation would be that ...
