I would even welcome an addition of a slower car besides the one we have now. Hell, we could even have several different cars to build with different handling like a Jeep, sand buggy, steam tank, then something spikey from Mad Max ... all requiring different amount of parts of course.

Good ideas. The world generation machine could also be some kind of a "Doom Engine", when activated it would end the current world in a spectacular explosion (or gradually in ripping the land apart) and putting you into a new one.

I've tidied up the place by replacing medium electric poles with substations. Added a second train stop just in case i ever run out of copper bars. Iron smelting now done with electric furnaces. Yellow factories for science packs:

Thanks. Yeah, i'm not rushing anywhere. Just trying to have fun :lol:
I realized i was running quite underpowered (after watching fast inserters not inserting fast enough) so i've upgraded the power plant, also started cracking one of the refinery products to keep the spice flowing :geek:

I ran out of iron so started importing it from somewhere else and i also managed to squeeze in blue science pack production:

Walking robots
Something like terminators, with whatever weapon and ammo you equip them with. Not overly fast but expendable. Could run on many kinds of fuel and maybe even have same upgrades as the player like armor / heavy armor / power armor ...

Solid fuel
Is there a way to automatically "insert" solid fuel into stuff that can use it ? Like furnaces ? I started some oil production and noticed if insert a box of solid fuel into a furnace it uses it the same way as coal. Now just to connect a pipe to a furnace and i can forget about faraway coal ...

Nice to hear that someone likes the idea
It could also be done through a special car / drone that navigates through the base and sucks waste in, adn then dumps it somewhere else.

Yeah. Actually i started a new map. Got tired of running into trees everywhere, like a lumberjack's wet dream. In the new one i got spawned in a desert and i'm liking it more

Thanks for your advices. I rearranged the science belts so they don't get clogged up with one science pack anymore and now it all runs like a clockwork :)
