This ship DOES use fuel regulation, a much later version of the previous ship :)
It makes it's own ammo and is pretty much self sufficient with the exception of the nuclear power cannisters needed.
It is still a bit of a work in progress.

By "ship" you mean space platform right? And not something added by a mod?
I don't get the point of suggestion #1, and suggestion #3 seems redundant with #5.
The Problem with #4 is you might need stuff like ammo or fuel cells to keep your platform alive and working. So I'm not sure.

I'm new to the game but finished the campaign which requires a train setup (some of the work is already in place which helps a lot!). It was a bit fiddly to get it working but not really any more difficult than the true train sim games and a basic single line with a loop at each end worked perfectly ...
