Re: Plastic production coal-starved?? (solved)
Thanks for that, wobby - will keep it in mind. For now, I've moved the power up a square, and extended the output underground with a single belt in order to add a second stack inserter offloading the plastic, and it's fixed the lot. Will be keeping a close eye on it for a while, though, to ensure it...

Re: Plastic production coal-starved??
Are you sure it's coal starving? Absolutely. Sitting there watching it. The inserters pause while it's producing, clears the outputs, and then can't keep up with the insertion when they're able to carry on. Thanks Trific for the idea of limiting the stack-inserters... will look into that. Seems a l...

Plastic production coal-starved?? (solved)
Hi guys, looking for a bit of help/guidance on this one, because I'm really not too sure on how best to tackle this. I'm currently working on a "reverse megabase", inspired by Nilaus and his current series of videos. Have gotten up (down??) to the plastic portion of my manufacturin chain, ...

Re: Stations & other LTN based designs
Thanks for the response :) I was totally overthinking it and should have just tried it, instead of trying to think my way through it lol. Didn't even consider that I literally just needed to hook it all up to the LTN station via a CC for the LTN-specific settings and it'd do the rest... Thanks again...

Re: Logistic Network to LTN stop filter
Hooking Logistic Network directly to LTN stops has some side effects due to how logistic network reads its contents. 1) Logistic network doesn't show items in transit as available potentially causing another delivery in a bot unloading station design. 2) If bots try to pick up more than available t...

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
Hi guys - this is a bit of a weird one - for me, at least!! Have searched the forums and wiki etc. but haven't been able to find an answer, and it's bugging me... I just "lost" 1500 or so purple science flasks by ctrl-left clicking on them in my inventory, whilst not having a container ope...

Re: Threshold and Stack Threshold
The stack threshold of 160 just translates to 160*50 => 8000 copper ore If you set your requester to request with -8000, then the train is scheduled, as soon the request station is empty -> 8000 - 8000 = 0 Try increasing your request amount to like -16000, then a train get scheduled, as soon as onl...

Re: Threshold and Stack Threshold
Hi guys - was going to post up a question of my own on thresholds, but noticed Optera has been compiling things in here to keep it tidy... so will add my question in here, as I'm all kinds of confused ;) My issue is with stack thresholds, and how they are working in my (rather basic at this stage) s...

Re: Can't for the life of me get decision requestors to work
Honestly - I've watched that many vids and looked over that many BP's, that I'm not too sure myself anymore!! However, I did just get it going - by accidentally moving the train that had been sitting at the station full of ore the entire time because I'd turned it to manual while I did my testing, s...

Can't for the life of me get decision requestors to work
Hi guys, Relatively new to the game, have dabbled with trains, and decided to have a crack at using LTN for use in a larger base. I've watch Nilaus' video multiple times, as well as that of Diablo and the other guy that the Mod developer refers us to. I am able to get a "simple" LTN networ...
