I've just found that setting a custom value of "1.4" in the config.ini file yields the best compromise between readability of the GUI and having the third button visibile in the "locomotive" panel.

So, if I want to see the buttons, do I need to reduce the UI scale in the game's settings? Is there a way to remove or reduce the text without having to lower the UI scaling? Or maybe using a keyboard shortcut?

Hello, I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find it elsewhere. In Factorio versions prior to 1.0 (which is awesome), the "locomotive" panel had three buttons in the upper-right hand: one of these three buttons allowed to open the map, and the camera panning would follow...
