A possible explanation could be that the efficiency module has no negative effects, as it only reduces energy consumption, whereas the other modules have negative effects also as they increased energy consumption and pollution.

On longer distances it' s cheaper in sense of construction materials needed, as you need 2 belt sections to cover the same distance of 1 straight rail section. Doing some quick math : 2 straight rail sections cost 1 stone , 1 steel & 1 iron stick to craft that could be also expressed as 1 stone and ...

In game updater complains.

File .../Factorio/data/core/locale/he/info.json has unexpected content


update:
I was able to have the ingame updater complete by changing the value of parameter "Completed" in json file from 99 to 100
The update resets the paramter to 99 in the json file.

There seems to be a problem with powering the Bio Farm. I placed small & medium poles aournd it , but the Red power Icon keeps flashing. Give it a show now. So I tried Version 0.3.0 the power issue has gone away. However in my savegame with bob's mods now when I click the greenhouse i get presented...
