If i set the frequency to normal my resources fields are alot bigger..

i walked 10 min to the south.. and the resources fields are the same

there is serieusly something wrong my client..

@ the start when i bought this game.. i could make 10 drills downwards such a bigg fields i had..

is there any other way to make the fields bigger?

all i do is start a new game.. set the settings to high and such of the resources.. and start the game..

The resources fields i get are very very small.. but yield very high amounts..

I truely dont get it what im doing wrong tho :S

problem with creating big fields of resources

I simply cant make it happen..

In one of the earlier versions of factorio i had no problems with setting the resources very high and field very big..

But @ some point that version got updated and since then i cant create big fields

Any ideas?

Very glad with the updates and the progress being made with the game..

map generation still not giving big resources..

it worked with 0.8.8 why change the code?

Ive been asking this for a while now..

Pls fix the map generator options..

I cant start a new map with big tiles of recourses.. i found that very anoying.

To answer your other question: yes, the point of the red and green wires is to see the total amount of items, but you can also connect them to Smart Inserters, and control the inserter based on the total amount of items. (e.g. make it only turn on when you have less than 1000 iron plates connected)...

thanks for the info..

I was under the impression indeed that the circuit red and green wire networks would work also for storage and distribution with the robots.. might be an idea tho..:P

hmm intresting..

So circuit network dont anything now then?

what's the point of having a circuit network then? only seeing the amount of stored items ?


p.s. hovering over the green network.. still shows the items of red aswell...
