The image link is broken. If you're using Imgur for example, make sure you use the direct link that has the .png or some such in it. I can see the image. But I'll tell you what it is, it's just a picture of a red science pack research (it looks like it's actually just military with red scribbled on...

I did always found it confusing when first starting out how there isn't one overarching tech tree that ties everything together. I don't think there needs to be an actual research tying them all together (at least, not a visible one), because that could also look confusing to new players who might t...

Why does it have an almost copper-like color to it? Rust from exposure to moisture? The item is probably optimized to be displayed with dark background as in the inventory, hence it is brighter. The entity, on the other hand, has to look good in contrast against a variety of different natural groun...

Expansion is not disabled; I just tested in a sandbox at 16x speed. Huh, looks like you're right. I've edited the post, and I guess I'll update the wiki too. (the fact that this isn't stated anywhere in the game just shows my point, though)

Both the top left curves in the examples you gave also had items that were below both items on either side. Can't quite tell, but I think the direction of the belts is reversed in the image you gave?
