Re: Friday Facts #32

Awesome trailer, it's fun to watch and showcases the key aspects of the game pretty darn good - great work and I also love the new logo!

Re: Friday Facts #24

Yeah Steam Early Access, I don't know what a game dev has to do to get into the program but from what I've seen released on there, Factorio can be considered done in comparison. The devs surely have thought about it and mentioned it somewhere in this forum, Steam Early Access should be the next stop...

Re: Friday Facts #24

In fact I get more enjoyment out of Factorio than any Blizzard release since Diablo 2. Unfortunately todays Blizzard is not what Blizzard was in the past. In the past Blizzard was making games on great and usually uniqe ideas (much like Indies) but today they only make games on streamlined ideas li...

Re: Friday Facts #23 - Year after

Thank you Albert, while I have my own preferences just like anybody in here, I must admit I can't wait for what you'll come up with next, I love your style. ;) Having seen a few picture from previous versions one has to admit, the game got increasingly better looking!

Re: Roboport undocking speed

Alternately, robots could collide and/or path around each other and/or with some minor randomness to their path.
I am currently having ~900 robots flying around, I'd very much like to see that happening and I'd probably not be able to see the ground underneath. :P

Re: Friday Facts #23 - Year after

Love the style you have going on for new graphic assets, quite the dirty and industrial design - awesome. However I do agree with a few here, the higher tier you go with a specific machine such as the assembly machine, I'd like them to get increasingly complex in terms of the look, while the moving ...

Re: Question on Gas flow…

Hey all, didn't want to open up a new topic regarding that, I've been having issues with figuring out how to empty crude oil barrels. That's my current test setup: http://i.imgur.com/Fe5KEkB.jpg My thought is since a steel barrel went into making a crude oil barrel, a steel barrel comes out includin...

Re: Friday Facts #19 The release buzz

@ssilk, definitely going to be alot more complex that the tech tree I found from Starcraft 2, however that's the overall style I'd prefer compared to the - most likely temporary - style currently in game.

Re: Friday Facts #19 The release buzz

Do get on Steam as mentioned previously, your game is miles ahead to a bunch of those Greenlight games on Steam, its mind boggling how good the game already is! In terms of tech trees, I'd like to see something like this: http://www.blog.last-save.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/terran_tech_tree_june...

Re: Friday Facts #19 The release buzz

Having bought Rimworld and lately Factorio, I might be able to help. Rimworld was given to me by a colleague to test it out, it's still very early and loads of features are missing but at the time I got it, I lost an entire weekend (3 days for me) with it and check daily for new updates on it. Needl...
