Great suggestion!Gammro wrote:I think being able to call in a missile with resources would be much cooler(and possibly faster) for an end-game far away logistics request.HerrJoebob wrote: So maybe an Amazon-style drone robot that can fill your logistic slots anywhere on the map?

Re: Railroad Fetch Trick
The concept is strong and the need for remote resupply is real, but what we're really talking about is global logistics. The 'bots are a much more natural fit for this than trains, and would probably be easier to balance...

Re: Completing Rocket Defense in X games?
I personally find rocket defense such a boring concept I haven't even tried in any of my factories. It boils down to either waiting for a really long time or building the same things over and over just to get higher output. As far as I know, the bug with biters not attacking more when rocket ...

Re: Completing Rocket Defense in X games?
Mine was on the first try (not counting playing the demo) solely because I started playing when things were much simpler. It was basically impossible to fail ... the worst you could do was make a slow factory, and if you did that you just spent more time outside building a cool railroad while the RD ...

Bad:
I don't like being forced to build the entire industry just for few items. When I just want to make an omelette, I am forced too to research "Universe" first. I'd like an expensive shortcut to produce things like say, advanced circuits for quadruple price.

Do biters attack solar power units?
As the title says... I always have trouble defending a large enough open area to contain my solar farms (I can do it but it's really boring until you get logistics and exoskeletons in late game). So I'd like to build the solar stuff outside the walls of the factory proper. Will biters prioritize ...

Re: [0.9.0] Factorio Crashes when Save Game is Loaded
I reproduced the crash on mine. Win7, 64 bit - looks almost identical to your system so I won't bother posting it.
However after the crash loading yours I was able to restart and load one of my saves, although that one only has ~30 mins of play time on it so it's not a great comparison.
Edit: My ...

[0.8.8] Belts got confused question mark?
Been lurking here for a few weeks, first post. So my research production was in order and working fine for many hours, and I returned to the base to see that blue production was clotted by a bunch of regular circuitboards in place of the line where the advanced boards should be. Hopefully this ...
