When the show-circuit-network-numbers debug setting is enabled, both the circuit network numbers (red/green) and the connected entity counts (white) are displayed.
However, the entity count text overlaps the network number and obscures the number, making it difficult and sometimes impossible to read. It's mostly a problem for larger networks where the counts have multiple digits (like the "100"s near the bottom of the screenshot below).
I don't know what the best suggestion would be; perhaps offset the text, or break the entity counts off into a separate setting (show-network-connected-entities is only for power), or draw the entity count behind the network number (which just reverses the problem but I'd be happy at least).
[0.17.79] show-circuit-network-numbers: entity count obscures network numbers
[0.17.79] show-circuit-network-numbers: entity count obscures network numbers
Took a break from 0.12.29 to 0.17.79, and then to ... oh god now it's 1.something. I never know what's happening.

UI scale is automatic (200%), dunno if it's related, didn't test different scales because lazy, but can if needed.
I suspect it's related because I don't remember this being a problem back in the day and this is the first time I've played it on a monitor with high enough DPI to require scaling.

Minor issue, however simple to fix. Fixed for 0.18.5
