Sometimes the biters walk up to my base and they just look like they are on a walk like sheep to the slaughter - and they don't even change their behaviour nor do they get excited when they get under fire.
Attached is a savegame where in very short time the artillery range will increase and as such biter attacks are triggered. You can observe such phlegmatic walk into certain death at [gps=-396,145] in the attached savegame 'phlegmatic_biters3'. 'phlegmatic_biters2' is about a minute earlier, immediately before the attack is most likely triggered by an extension of the automatic artillery range.
