[0.17.1] Crash while playing

I was in a early game stage, just walking down and manually crafting turrets, the crash was in the exact moment i CTRL clicked a chest to retrive some ammunition.
Game started at and playing at vr. 0.17.1

[UPDATE] The game systematically crashed everytime i CTRL+LEFT CLICK on the chest with ammunition on the east of the base.

Thanks for the report. It's crashing because you have walls equipped in the ammo slot for your pistol. Do you have any idea how you managed that?

I had a similar problem while playing. I found out that I can systematically put any item in the ammo slot by using the hand tool. What happens is that I click on any ammo currently in the slot, then click any other item in the player inventory. By using the clear cursor button the new item is put in the ammo slot. The game then crash when trying to use the weapon with an invalid item in the slot.

Ok, I figured out how it happened and it's now fixed for the next version of 0.17.

If you remove the walls from the ammo slot you can keep playing.
