In 15.x you could place a wall up against a lake and you'd always be sure it wouldn't be possible to get through. In 16.7 it's hit and miss. With a completely straight shore and a wall hitting it at a right angle, it's fine, but when you've got a natural lake with uneven edges it's unpredictable. Here's an example of a configuration where it's passable (you may have to wiggle a bit to get through) .

[wheybags][0.16.7] Wall-Water junction not always impassable
Re: [0.16.7] Wall-Water junction not always impassable
I can't reproduce this behaviour, unless you meant what's shown in the attached screenshot? In which case, it's not a bug, you're supposed to be able to walk across 1-tile thick tiny "rivers".
If not, could you please post a save showing the issue?

OK, after rechecking, it looks like this situation is actually this:
However I also see the situation has improved somewhat since the version I reported this for. It's still possible get through sometimes with enough wiggling though.- Attachments

Re: [wheybags][0.16.7] Wall-Water junction not always impassable
So, I tested the setup you showed in our latest dev version and it doesn't seem like this is possible anymore.
That said, we've changed the logic for "sliding" around obstacles a few times recently, and are likely to do so again before release.
I'll keep an eye on it and try to make sure this bug doesn't get re-introduced, but do let me know if you see it in a future release.
Thanks for the report, anyway!
