[posila][0.15.31] crash on startup

Hi there, i've encountered an issue with thenew version of factorio.

I downloaded the last version of the game and try launched it and there's what's happened :

this happens before any loading screen, i don't even see the window showing up.

I've been looking around on the forum for some explanations and there's what i've tried with no result :

-reinstalling the game
-closing razer synapse (and well ... mostly all the running programs on my computer)
-running the game as admin
-reboot

the game also work tottally fine on the older 0.14.23 version.

I can provide further informations if some is needed.

Unzip it, run dump_on_exception.bat, confirm Microsoft's EULA and then run Factorio.exe from standalone .zip package. It should create Factorio.exe_######_######.dmp. If it doesn't, try to run dump_on_terminate.bat instead. Zip the dmp file and upload it here, please.

Make sure your are NOT trying to run Factorio.exe as administrator. Procdump would not be able to create memory dump in that case.

Procdump.zip contains ProcDump from Microsoft Sysinternals (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sys ... 96900.aspx) and bat files to run procdump with parameters that make it create memory dump when Factorio.exe crashes or terminates.

I have prepared this patched build, can you try to run it and see if it also crashes?

You can unzip it wherever and try to run it ... if it crashes as before, my fix didn't work and in that case create new memory dump with this executable please. If it shows error "There is no package core in <some_path>" the fix seems to be working and you can drop whole x64_patched folder next to x64 folder in \Factorio\bin and play the game from this executable. I recommend not to overwrite original Factorio.exe as it would break updater and you would have to reinstall when 0.15.32 is released.
