I use to play my saves on different machines.
A: Windows 10 (Steam-Version)
B: Linux Mint (tar.gz with updates through the game)
This always worked well, except for the last few versions. (Sorry, I can't tell when it worked the last time, but I _think_ it was 15.6
Now since at least 15.11, maybe even 15.10 every time I load a game that was last saved on A, it crashes on B, "Segmentation fault"
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Create new game on A
2.) Load game on B --> segfault
Also:
1.) On "A": Load game created on "B"
2.) Save game
3.) Load game on "B" --> segfault
Creating and saving on "B" works like a charm, but as soon as "A" is involved "B" cannot play anymore.
To make sure it is not related to any mods, or some "late-game" stuff I created a whole new game (attached) where I just started the game with default-options, walked a bit to the left, placed a smelter and saved the game (all on Windows).
When trying to load it on Linux: Segfault.
