It must be release day because there is no blog post and we have a number for it.

will the release date be a surprise, like "hey all, everything is good in the office, my cat got de-wormed, contracted help are licking the windows per usual, have a great weeke- oh ya, here's .15" or will there be like a "its coming in a week, clear your calendars"?

Just wondering: why make a post about it when FFF is not done?

Happy about the delay. I'm glad their taking time to getting everything ready. Even if it's going end up being July at the current delay pace I'm totally fine with it :)

I am in different. One part of me wants it the other wants it as a polished product. So either way I want it. But I am an impatient American, so there is that too

Oh well, shame no release this week or next, all the more to look forward too though.

Ooooh shiiiney =D

Hey, just a thought, with the changes to research are we going to see an update to the speedrun achievements? I mean 8 hours is pretty easy now but with much harder research it may no longer be feasible.

And hey while we're on achievements it might be worth setting up some new ones for completing games on harder preset maps.

I wonder if the whole map extension implementation will eventually move Factorio into some god mode interaction model. I was always wondering, why I had to walk all the way to the south to fiddle with the belt arrangement there. Why not just scroll there and change it?
The more I can do in the map view directly, the less understandable it will be why I have to walk somewhere to do something in normal view.

Are there plans to get rid of the figure alltogether?

Any word on rotating the train stop names in the map view so that they are readable if you have multiple stops next to each other?

As always, let us know know you think on our forums.
Indeed, I am thinking! =)
But seriously, nice FFF as usual. Looking forward to the new stuff. That map zoom sounds really nice.

I know it's gimmicky, but is the zoom feature used when pressing the M button? Maybe the delay would be a pain though.
Or you could enable zooming out into map view while the player holds down a specific button? Might be cool, but probably not worth it :D

Awesome map improvements!!

Thanks for the update, looks like things are going well. Don't worry about the delay, I'm sure it will be worth it!

Enjoyed this FFF. As a fellow developer that knows EXACTLY what it is like to hit delays, I totally understand. Just ignore those that don't, they will end up having a pissy mood about being released with bug X not being fixed. Some people aren't worth the time to worry about.

Like the improvements that are up coming. Just please make death world be a difficult mode.

Really anxious to see 0.15 in all it's glory. Keep up the great work.
