[0.14.4] [kovarex] MP: Research changed to same research

Hi,
On a Multiplacer server with a high ping time (I suspect around 500ms) when 2 players select the same research at the same time (within 1s), it is handled as a change (See attached screenshot)
It seems that the server does not check if the new research request is the same as the old and handle it as a change.
