The items on belts can flip between lanes when the belt is flipped now. This almost seems like it could have been an intentional change but I don't see any mention of it in any of the 2.1 patch notes. However there is some strange behavior when blueprints are used to flip belts.
Demonstration with a tank used as an indicator for which way the belts are flipped:
It looks like when a belt blueprint has been flipped once it will always flip the contents of the belt it is pasted over, even when pasting it multiple times in a row. If flipping the contents of belts is an intended behavior then I would expect a blueprint to only flip the contents once to match the new orientation.
