[2.1.7] A bot upgrading a train places the locomotive on the crossing elevated track
Upgrading a train where the locomotive is parked underneath an elevated rail causes the locomotive to be placed on the elevated section, breaking the train. See image.

Actually I was able to reproduce it in another scenario. It's now fixed for the next release.
