[2.0.76] Copying content with covered / half-covered offshore pumps cause inconsistent blueprint errors

Post by roze »

If you copy a portion of a base that contains a "covered" or partially covered offshore pump, sometimes called a "Well Pump", on Aquilo, you get inconsistent or errors.
If you try to copy it "With Tiles", you get an immediate error about "Blueprint has tile buildability inconsistency" error, without any indication about where.
If you copy it without tiles, the blueprint editor places Ice Blocks underneath all structures by default, which upon placement gives you "An auto-included Ice Platform is inconsistent with buildability rules of some Offshore pump", once again, without showing any red-markers for problematic areas. So you get NO errors when copying and you get potentially hard to find errors on placement.

Basically, I'm not asking for any change to building rules, even if that is probably the best choice. But PLEASE, properly show where the offending tiles is. Both in blueprint editor and in placement ghost.

If a blueprint has 200 pumps, and One of them is a offending one, it will be quite hard to find which one. Especially since the blueprint editor does not allow zooming in (afaik).

I know the devs called the "covering" of pumps for an Easter Egg. But even so, at this point its more akin to a bugged feature if it gives rise to weird behavior.
