What did you do?
I changed the subgroup of recipes "solid-fuel-from-petroleum-gas", "solid-fuel-from-light-oil" and "solid-fuel-from-heavy-oil" to "raw-material", the same subgroup as the "solid-fuel" item. I also changed the order strings of those recipes to "b[chemistry]-a[solid-fuel-alt-1]", "b[chemistry]-a[solid-fuel-alt-2]" and "b[chemistry]-a[solid-fuel-alt-3]" respectively, so that their order should be between the "solid-fuel" item and the "plastic-bar" item/recipe combination in Factoriopedia.
What happened?
Factoriopedia did not order the recipes between the "solid-fuel" item and the "plastic-bar" item/recipe, as can be seen in the screenshot below
What did you expect to happen instead?
I expected the order string of the items and recipes to be respected within the subgroup assigned to them. While this example is made using recipes from the base game, being able to put an alternate recipe next to the main item/recipe is an important tool for mod makers that want to make use of Factoriopedia.
I have attached the minimal mod I used to show this beahviour in the Factoriopedia.

Re: [Pard][2.0.43] Factoriopedia does not respect order strings as expected
Yeah being able to group alternate recipes with the item is important.

Thanks for the report, this has been fixed for 2.0.45.
Don't forget, you're here forever.
