Recycling time for "Concrete" is incorrect by a factor of 10

Post by DodoBello »

The recycling recipe for an item, other than scrap, is equal to 1/16th (0.0625) of the time it takes to craft that item. (Items without recipes, such as ore, are treated as having a crafting time of 0.5 seconds.) But because the recycler has a base crafting speed of 0.5, the time it takes one recycler to recycle one item is effectively 1/8th (0.125) of the item's crafting time without modules or beacons.

Hello Factorio team, great game - thank you for that!

I noticed that the recycling time does not always follow the stated rule exactly. For example, I think that the slowdown by a factor of 2 in the case of "Copper Cable" is a conscious decision and not a bug to limit the high output. In the case of "Concrete", however, there is no high output due to the long craft time in the recipe, so the output factor of 10 in the original recipe was probably actually overlooked. I would be happy if the recycling time for "Concrete" were fixed by a factor of 10 in accordance with the rule. This would also be more appropriate in terms of game balance.

Thank you and kind regards!
