I noticed a non-game-breaking rendering bug: some chunks on Nauvis do not show spoilage on biter eggs when in map view on max distance.
I have not tested Gleba spoilage.
There's also some stuttering in item movements, but I don't know whether that's intended or not as an optimization.
I've uploaded the save file. On Nauvis, you can look for "EGG" station and look at the biter egg farm on max distance. You need to call the egg train for the eggs to start going!

Thanks for the report. This is happening because the spoilage bar is shorter than 1 pixel. I don't think this is a Mac-specific issue, so I've solved it by hiding item health and spoilage bars altogether when the player is zoomed too far out. This will be "fixed" in 2.0.43.
