Basically pipetting (i.e. pressing 'q') on the following two icons does nothing:
The same behaviour occurs when pipetting on the recipe in a biochamber, or in factoriopedia.
I expected the normal 'iron bacteria' and 'copper bacteria' recipes to do the same thing, just like other recipes do (e.g. pipetting on 'iron plate' gives you iron plates, as does pipetting on 'casting iron plate').
Pipetting on the two beside them (Iron bacteria cultivation & copper bacteria cultivation) however puts iron/copper bacteria in your cursor (or ghosts if you don't have any).[2.0.23] Pipetting iron & copper bacteria from crafting menu does not work

That was changed on one of the recent releases, when pipetting quality was changed. Pipetting now selects the recipe's only result instead of recipe itself, and for recipes with > 1 result pipetting fails.

Oh woops, iron bacteria also makes spoilage. (I guess expecting the game to know that the iron bacteria is the important result, and not the spoilage, is asking too much).Hares wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2024 11:06 am That was changed on one of the recent releases, when pipetting quality was changed. What's interesting though is that unlike all? other recipes with multiple outputs, these ones don't have separate signals:
e.g. the "iron bacteria" signal is for both the item and the recipe (even though said recipe also outputs spoilage)

If you want pipetting iron bacteria as of now, you can use Remte View instead of Player View. The former's E-menu has only items and not recipes (IsaacOscar wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2024 12:01 pm What's interesting though is that unlike all? other recipes with multiple outputs, these ones don't have separate signals:

which I find annoying BTW

What I was actually trying to do when I discovered this bug was pipette the iron bacteria cultivation recipe, but pipetting that just gives you iron bacteria (so no need to enter remote view).Hares wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2024 12:25 pmIf you want pipetting iron bacteria as of now, you can use Remte View instead of Player View.
