Hello,
I've encountered some problems while playing space age DLC. A lot of space\rocket related menus are too large for Steam Deck's default resolution(1280x800) which renders some buttons or item slots inaccessible.
I couldn't find a way to move them but that would not solve the issue, because I would open some buttons but obscure others by doing so.
UI scale settings helps, but I am unable to select something other than 75% scale, which makes a lot of menus unreadable on a small Steam Deck screen.

I will look into these. But I'm still thinking about possible solutions as I don't want to just hide them under tabs.

Any solution would be great.
Thank you very much for looking into this on such short notice!

Out of these, only the rocket silo needs a fix now.

The Rocket Silo GUI should also be resolved for Version: 2.0.32

Thanks for this! I play on ipad and faced the same problem. I reported it as a bug, but it was labeled 'not a bug'. Then I made a suggestion with no responses yet. Then all of a sudden it got fixed because of this post. Thank you very much!!!

Re: [Twinsen][2.0.14][Steam Deck] Some menus are too large for default resolution
I think It was labeled as "Not a bug" in your case because of 2 things:
1) (Less important) You mentioned that "Flat GUI" option does nothing, but this option relates only to character inventory screen and not every menu in the game. Yes, I agree that the wording is a bit ambiguous and you could interpret this as "Every menu my character opens is a character menu" but this wording is a separate (and quite minor) problem unrelated to the GUI issue.
2) (More important) You mentioned that you stream from Linux PC to iPad and your iPad has different aspect ratio and pixel count. I suspect that the developers surmised that everything works as intended on a... reasonable setup:)... and deemed your setup sufficiently "unintended" to not warrant quite a lot of dev time to fix your specific edge case (note that the fix for this issue came out after whole 3 months since it was acknowledged)
Circling back to this issue, I think it was accepted and resolved because the bug was present with default resolution for a supported platform (Factorio even has steam deck specific buttons. This is so nice). And given that there were no acceptable workarounds for this specific platform (1. cant change UI scale because it only allowed 100% and 75% and nothing in between (and both were bad) 2. can`t change native screen because... it`s a steam deck), a comprehensive fix was required.
But anyway, I am really glad that this fix helped you too! It's nice to see weird Linux setups thriving.
And while we are on the topic of weird setups. If someone from Factorio staff reads this, give a guy who implemented controller support a big "Thank you" from me. He made Factorio a lot more pleasant to play on Steam Deck
Judging by his GIC speech implementing something like this was not at all easy to do.

Fully agree with your analysis. My post was in no way meant as negative towards Wube. I'm just pleasantly surprised to have it fixed so quickly as I anticipated it would take much longer. And that thanks to your bug report!
