My wireless headphones often take a while to connect on this laptop. On top of that, I have the default build in speakers disabled (although they do show up in the sound factorio menu?).
When I launch Factorio (often after join our multiplayer world), I then usually switch to my speakers (which are disabled) (because they are higher in the list) (not sure if I always pick that one or just more often) and back to the default device. Today however, I switched to my headphones in the settings and back (feels like this wasn't the first time I did it like that though) and when switching back, the game crashed.

Re: [2.0.11] Sound engine crash
I saw that the log mentioned a crash dump. Is this it?

Thanks for the great report. The crash is now fixed for the next release.
Regarding the disabled device showing up in the device selection: that shouldn't happen. If you want to troubleshoot that, please create a new topic.
