The "Make it better" achievement is only obtained when using a first-level quality module. If higher-level quality modules are used, the achievement is not awarded. I had to scratch my head a bit to figure out what I was doing wrong .
If this is the expected behavior, I think it would be a good idea to adjust the description of this achievement.

Re: [2.0.10] "Make it better" achievement bug
Still present in 2.0.11, I also believe the proper way to solve to this would be to trigger the achievement on any quality module level, it makes little sense for it to only be triggered by level 1 quality modules.
Re: [2.0.10] "Make it better" achievement bug
Even moreso.
It won't trigger if you replace module.
You need to actually stick Common T1 Quality module into empty slot. Which means the need of emptying it first.
...still, it's plausible since achievement text sez "quality module" and "quality module" is an entity different from "quality module 2" and "quality module 3".

Same is true for the assembler achievement. Can only be obtained using assembler 1, not assembler 2 nor 3 (if you load an older save file).

Thanks for the report. This is now fixed for the next release.
