What?
Currently, there's no way to set up a Logistics storage chest (the yellow one) to filter for all items of a given type regardless of quality, you have to set a specific quality level. Because it only allows 1 filter, this is problematic if we want to store all items of a given type regardless of quality.
A lot of other items have "Quality: Any" as a filter. Please add it to chests as well.
Why?
All entities in the game should be able to ignore quality if they want to, in my opinion. Otherwise we need multiple chests to store the same things, and generally there's a lot more annoyance.
Please add "Quality: Any" filter to more chests

I also have this issue. I've noticed that logistic storage chests only allow me to select a filter for a specific quality instead of a set of qualities. Also it appears that while you can select quality comparators on a chest like the requester chest, it does not enable choosing a minimum amount and so the amount requested is permanently zero.
Currently trying to sort through my recycling output on Fulgora and would have a much simpler design if I could just make use of the logistic robots in a meaningful way.

Logistics storage chest filters should have an "any quality" option.
TL;DR
Most other filter selection interfaces (such as that of inserters, logistic requests, and combinator inputs) have the following option for "any" quality- however, the logistics storage chest does not. What?
The little "logistic filters" section at the bottom doesn't allow you to use the "any" quality. While you cannot use 'any' in requester chests due to ambiguity, there would be no ambiguity in a storage chest, since all it would allow for is to tell the logistics network "hey, you can put these 5 items in this chest."Why?
It would be more consistent with other filter objects such as inserters, splitters, and cargo wagons/vehicle inventories. You can already set any-quality storage filters in cargo wagons, so why not add the 'any' filter to logistics storage chests as well? :3 Currently, the way I've had to deal with this is to have a separate chest for each quality, to compact them down to the main stone chest. This is very messy, and is not very fun...anyways, that's my little suggestion :3 sorry if i've rambled a bit! this is just one of the main things that's bothered me while playing Space Age, and I'm heavily enjoying the rest of it. thanks so much for reading!

Re: Please add "Quality: Any" filter to more chests
That would help a lot.
It's hard to keep track of all items with various quality. Say that I want to layout solar panels, I wouldn't know that I already have higher quality solar panels lost in general storage chests with random items in the middle of my base.
I am trying to find a way that keeps such items in the same chests, all 3 methods have issues (passive providers cannot take items back, filled-up buffer chests doesn't share with other buffer chests, and storage chests cannot accept more than one quality).
My current workaround is to use 2 chests per machine in my mall:
Why not just insert directly to the buffer chest, you might ask? Because if we do that, the other buffer chests (acting as a buffer for the player, as intended) will starve, because they cannot request items from buffer chests.

My current workaround is to use 2 chests per machine in my mall:
- An inserter puts items (of various quality) in a filtered storage chest (normal quality). The inserter is linked to the storage chest to read the amount of material inside, and is disabled by circuit when there is more than 100 normal solar panels.
- A buffer chest just nearby is set up to request unrealistic amounts of items, say 500 solar panels of each quality except normal (4 requests to setup manually).

I'd also suggest the same for other requests, like space platforms. As that would allow it to automatically collect all qualities of science for example. As quality modules are a cheap way to get a bit more out of your setup for science, and manually having to launch them up is quite annoying.
