Environment:
Game version: Version: 2.0.9 (build 79509, linux64, steam)
OS version: Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS x86_64 Xorg
Hardware: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics, 32GB RAM
Description:
When drag and hold box-selection in remote-view and exit, the selection area goto the current surface.
Steps to reproduce:
1. open remote view
2. use Deconstruction planner to drag-select some entities
3. keep mouse button down (aka entities selected), press ESC to exit remote view
Expected behavior:
When switch surface / exit remote-view, the current selection area should be cancelled.
Observed behavior:
When leaving remote view, the selection area appears on the current surface.
The selection seems to extend from the same coords of the remote view to the current cursor positon on the current surface.
If user accidently operate steps above and then release mouse button, then possibly everything on the current surface is marked for deconstruction.
Edit: upload screen recording and game log.
