When you open research, the music cuts of too agressivelly
Cuting the sound of machines (research open pauses game enabled) is okay, but if you set the music volume to low percentage (myself on 10%), the music no longer fades away if you open the menu, but it cuts of rather fast, and it sound weird cutting it of instead of gradualy decreasing, maybe add more steps idk.
More noticeable if you have custom bacground music mods (genshin impact music pack, star anthology music pack)

The fade out at 10% sounds fine to me (with base game soundtrack). At 5% and lower we start hitting the resolution of volume control of the SDL_Mixer audio library we're using, Allegro seems to be a bit smoother at extremely low volume levels. But at those level I have to have my overall volume cranked way up to hear it at all, so I don't see it as a big issue.

That being said, making the music not to fade out on technology screen is on my TODO list for 1.2. I can probably do it for 1.1 too.

With the next release, music no longer fades out on technology screen.
