Cannot connect to my friends game.

To start off with, I have only recently purchased factorio and I haven't been able to join any multiplayer server since the very start, I know its on my end because if I cant join multiplayer it doesn't take a genius to figure out who it is. I have ported forward and let factorio through windows firewall and turned off my vpn and it still hasn't worked I've uninstalled and reinstalled along with verifying the game files . I have no clue what else I can do I've scoured through the forum and I cannot find a solution.

Can others connect when you host yourself?
Try connecting through steam invite.

Others players cannot connect with me when I host the server freezes and I have to reset the game or the player connecting has to stop trying to join.

The steam invite doesn't work either, it takes me to the same point I screenshotted in my first post, I can get to the password screen but no further.

What happens is, that once the server starts serving the map, all sent packets including heartbeat get lost for a duration of 27 seconds. I'd suspect a firewall issue and try swapping routers or check if the issue goes away when using a different internet connection.
