Bugfixes
  • Changed requirement for parallel loading of high quality sprites to 12 GB of RAM to prevent chance of running out of memory on startup. (54548)
  • Fixed that saves with modded progress bar GUI elements couldn't be loaded in 0.16. (54552)
  • Fixed crash when loading crop cache from previous game version. (54543)
  • Fixed that LuaRemote::call() wouldn't copy string values/keys correctly. (54567)
  • Fixed updater would re-launch the game with deprecated --autoupdate-finished parameter.
  • Fixed that scroll pane created unnecessary horizontal scroller when squashed vertically (MapPreview, blueprints, probably more) (54544)
  • Fixed that the Linux binary was corrupt and wouldn't start. (54540)
  • Fixed error checking when compiling GLSL shaders. (54577)
  • Fixed artillery would still show as being able to shoot when on enemy forces. (54591)
  • Fixed the programmable speaker GUI wouldn't show settings correctly when opened. (54595)
Use the automatic updater if you can (check experimental updates in other settings) or download full installation at http://www.factorio.com/download/experimental.

I just noticed, with all the high-res sprites, i think FactorioBot also need a new profile picture :lol:

Great work, nice and responsive.

I was so happy to see the new version today. I switched beta trees in steam and downloaded...

hmm... might be a problem here...

I had to run some errands before I could report it... and a fix was ready to download when I was done.
(I assume it was 54540 with the corrupted linux binary)

and the game starts now...

I got a crash about 15 seconds after loading a save. It's a relatively large base. mods: Textplates, Logistic Train Network (note: No logistic trains used in this base, just a loaded mod), Orbital Ion Cannon (not used in this base), Bottleneck, Explosive Termites, Power Armor MK3, ScoreExtended, and the Fat Controller.

Does that mean its expected that is still broken on Mac or should it also work on Mac? Because it is still not working for me.

It is working fine on mine. (And I got no problem even on 0.16.0)

0.16 released - Forum is on fire :D

I can see the team shoveling through all the incoming bug reports... maybe a more incremental update approach would have eased the rush a bit.
