Steps to reproduce:
Load saved game
Press the key to connect rolling stock twice.
Crash: Internal error: Carriage::moveBackJointBackward backRail rollingStockCount != 0
btw does Factorio save these sorts of errors anywhere? I took a look around but couldn't find a log file with the error in it; I had to screenshot and type it in manually.
[0.10.12][resolved for 0.11] Connecting trains crashes
Re: [0.10.12] Connecting rolling stock crashes
If you get into the locomotive on the other end of the train, it crashes on the first 'connect rolling stock'. But since this is a very silly way to build trains, it's fine if you fix it somewhere late 2015

*inserts bugs slightly slower than jeroon removes them*
Re: [0.10.12] Connecting rolling stock crashes
Thank you for the reproducible report.
This is the murphy law, this problem is there for a year or so, and it was just discovered two days after 3rd release candidate.
Anyway, the problem was fixed, there is new error message for this type of situation

Anyway, as this is so rare we decided to put this fix into the 0.11 release, unless there is some other serious bug in the 0.10.xNot enough space to connect the train.

Just remember kids: Always manage your rolling stock in the train yard. Doing shunting out in the wild is dangerous!
