[0.12.20] [kovarex] Campaign First steps

When I was playing base/First steps I noticed an error occurred with the "Open the furnace gui" objective.
When instead of opening its gui you mine the furnace it gives the following error:

Error while running the event handler: PathToFactorio/factorio/data/core/lualib/story.lua:115: attempt to index local 'story_point'(a nil value)

I am running ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Further specs are probably not needed.
