Recipe Icons keep getting auto reset / turned off on map mode

Is this a feature?
It seems like I have to keep turning the map feature back on.

Map mode supports clicking ALT to toggle the selected overlays and not. It might be that?

Yep, that was it, alt tabbing will flip these depending on how the key sequence is pressed. Driving me crazy, thanks.

I changed the binding to right-ctrl. Was confusing the first time I started a new game and ALT didn't work, but it saves headaches on alt-tabs, alt-ds and alt-bs
