Logistic alerts (blinking yellos icons for items that need to be placed): Disable by item type.
Posted: Wed Apr 17, 2019 12:08 pm
Scenario:
You have the perfect blueprint. In the early game it works perfectly by letting you place some of the items, in mid-game you add some more, and in the late game you add the rest.
Sounds great, right? It is... until you place the first roboport in your map and your screen fills with yellow. Yes, you know those items are missing, and you plan on eventually placing them... but ***they are not a relevant problem***. Worse, the sea of yellow hides the real problem spots. One easy example is concrete or brick flooring, but it could be anything you have not researched yet.
Solution:
- Allow right-clicking on the Alert icon of the toolbar, to show an equipment grid for Alert Exceptions.
- Add/remove from the Alert Exceptions grid like you do with any other equipment grid.
- Items on the Alert Exceptions grid do not get counted on the toolbar and do not show an icon on the map.
Simple, improves quality of life, and even helps identify problems faster.
