Factorio version: 0.17.21
Platform: Windows 7 x64

Only on client. On host bug not reproduce. Perhaps the client had problems with the Internet connection.

Same happened to me. I placed 2 big electric poles and the game crashed while placing the third one (holding m1).

Factorio version: 0.17.22
Platform: Windows 10 x64
No mods used.
