[16.22] Train waits 30 seconds at blue chain signal

Setup: see screenshot below and attached save file.
Expected behaviour: not sure if this is by design or not, but I would expect a path recalculation to be triggered as soon as the chain signal changes state. If this is not a bug, please consider this as a feature request.
Tested with version 0.16.22 (build 35382, mac, steam).
I am also attaching the log as requested by the bug reporting instructions, although it is largely irrelevant in this situation.
When a train arrives at chain signal A, both lines B and C are occupied. When one of the trains at B or C leaves, the chain signal A turns blue. If the path that is freed up does not coincide with the calculated path of the train waiting at A, as illustrated in the screenshot, the train at A will continue waiting for 30 seconds until a new path recalculation is triggered.Expected behaviour: not sure if this is by design or not, but I would expect a path recalculation to be triggered as soon as the chain signal changes state.
