When Factorio is loading, If you use Ctrl + Alt + Delete during the 'Loading Sprites...' or 'Loading Sounds...' stages, Factorio freezes accompanied by a message saying that 'Sprite [FILE PATH] couldn't be loaded' and when the 'OK' button is pressed, the game closes. (I think the file depends on what was being loaded at the time.)

There is a very obvious solution to this problem for the user, namely don't press Ctrl + Alt + Delete while the game is loading, but just for polish of the game...

My system is Windows 7.
I do have mods installed, but I don't really think they were making the difference because some of the files that couldn't be loaded in my testing were vanilla.

This is probably not intended behavior, but I don't think you could expect factorio to run correctly when you do a system interrupt like ctrl-alt-del...

Well, no and its not a major thing, but I thought I'd report it anyway.

I guess this is resolved, but maybe it could be prevented entirely by looking at the changes from 0.12 to 0.13.

Strangely, this does not occur on 0.12.35 and the screen stays loading in the background. On 0.13.20 and 0.14.23 the screen goes black and crashes. Maybe that's helpful for what changed, and how to prevent the loading problem.

From 0.15.40 on, it goes black and continues to load, but doesn't crash and offers an option to restart.

Jon8RFC, do you work for Wube? i see you digging up a lot of old bug reports.

Nope. I'm on an obsessive-compulsive binge to find reports that are likely resolved, and get them moved out of minor issues if they are, in fact, resolved.
