[2.1.7] Turrets lock on to targets outside their range

I assume all turrets are affected, but I only checked gun turrets on space platforms, as that's where this issue is most problematic. They seem to lock on to targets just outside their range, and will not choose a different target until the current one is either destroyed or goes outside the invisible targeting range. This causes major problems for space platforms as asteroids will fly by and smash into the front or sometimes sides of the platform while the turret is busy staring at something it can't shoot.

The video was taken on a modded save, but I did reproduce the issue on a completely vanilla save file and have attached that to the post.

I was wondering why so many of my platforms suddenly started taking damage. Thanks for figuring it out.
