[2.0.76] Cannot connect to multiplayer.factorio.com
Posted: Wed May 20, 2026 4:22 pm
I used to be able to access the server list perfectly fine for many months, but it stopped working a few days ago.
When I try to access the server list from "Browse public games", I get the following error: Trying to curl the server list from a command line doesn't work either, or access it using Google Chrome, not even an error page received:
>curl -v -G -d "username=Yess" https://multiplayer.factorio.com/get-games
* Host multiplayer.factorio.com:443 was resolved.
* IPv6: (none)
* IPv4: 34.32.156.188

curl: (28) Failed to connect to multiplayer.factorio.com port 443 after 21125 ms: Could not connect to server
Google Chrome shows nothing: tracert to the server works though:
>tracert -d -w 200 34.32.156.188

Wireshark shows no response from the server at all, even when using the Factorio executable to send the TCP packets instead of traceTCP.
May somebody on the WUBE team check if my IP address is blacklisted, or at least confirm that the problem isn't on your end? ( I can share my IP in a private message, I'm paranoid of putting it publicly on a forum post. )
If you would rather look through log files for my IP rather than wait for me to send it to you, here is a screenshot of Wireshark with timestamped packet send times in GMT ( the displayed source address is for my local network, not my public internet IP address ): Log file is attached as is standard.
