Laser changes

If you want to know why, you can skip down to the button below but the gist is that I'd like for a Laser/Solar Edge of the Solar system to be possible.

My proposed changes are (one or more of the following):
Quality impacts Laser Turret Energy Usage:
This lets you quality up the last part of the trifecta and could save a ton of damage upgrades but I'll be honest I don't know what numbers I'd stick on it.

Quality impacts Laser Turret Damage:
Other turrets get to benefit from quality ammo, so this would be a way for laser turrets to get an effect like that as well. Again I'm not super sure on the details but even just 20% goes a long way here.

Lower Asteroid Laser Resistance by 1-4%:
This would effectively, double (or more) the damage that lasers do to the Huge Asteroids which in turn drastically lowers the amount of damage upgrades needed for this to work, but still keeps most people out of doing this and guides people to do the more sensible options.

Lowering the cost of Laser Damage Upgrades (or at least capping it):
Past a certain point, the laser damage upgrades really only impact this scenario exactly. It's pretty easy to get them strong enough that most things instantly explode from them, except asteroids so I feel like these changes shouldn't matter elsewhere so much, but a lowering could really make this more possible.
Capping it would still allow for things to be ridiculous, just not heat death of the universe levels.

Reasoning
I know what I'm doing is insane, but I really want to do it and this is really my only option now.

Don't you have the "made a mod to implement this change" option in addition to the "have the devs make this change in the main game" option?

if quality improve damage of laser turret I want on the contrary that energy usage increase.

Having quality affect ammo usage of weapons in general would be really interesting, not just for laser turrets. Like a productivity sort of bonus. Uncommon have 10% productivity, rare 20%, epic 30% and legendary 50%. Whenever the productivity bar of a turret reaches 100% during shooting, the next shot doesn't consume any ammo.

This is the balancing forum, this could be said for (almost) all things here.

Yeah I thought about this as well but when I imagined it in my head, it seemed a bit underwhelming visually. I think that for the bigger ammos it might be more exciting, but for stuff like yellow or red ammo most people would probably consider it pretty meh? Plus with laser, it feels like a bit weirder of a line to draw what increasing that productivity looks like but I'm not opposed. I think that quality on the defense stuff is fairly underwhelming and definitely think there's room for improvement on it.

And if I saw another post in this forum say they wanted to do something and thought their only option was for the devs to change the game for them, I would remind them too that they have the option to do it themselves.
