Spidertron does not stop burning when on fire

I've found that if I set my spidertron on fire, it will continually burn and not stop. If I'm in the spidertron and get out to use a flamethrower and accidentally set it on fire this is an issue. The only way I can see to stop the fire is to manually deconstruct the spidertron and place it again.
I suspect this bug is only ever really noticed when trying to get the pyromaniac achievement.
