[2.0.34] Blueprint parameter in section name breaks all parameters for that entity

Reproduced in a fresh 2.0.34 save, no mods.

What I did: put a blueprint parameter into the section name on a constant combinator to automate some bookkeeping.

What happens: When you paste a constant combinator with a parameter in the section name you do not get prompted to replace any parameters in that building. this applies to requester chests as well and presumably anything else with sections.

I expect to be prompted to fill in parameters if present, even if that means the name cannot be parameterized. Ideally the name could be parameterized as well.

This behavior is consistent. If you delete the section with the parameter in the name parameters work as expected.

Save and log attached, although I think the blueprint is enough.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for the report.

It's not the parameter in section name that is the culprit, it's the section name in the first place.

When placing a blueprint with a constant combinator that has named section, this section is taken from existing game if it exists. Only if it doesn't exist yet it's taken from the blueprint.
So it was decided that parametrization will not happen for named sections.

Not a bug. Duplicate of 125477 Signals in constant combinator with description not parametrizable.
