We can copy filters to buildings and chests, but not to inserter or pump. Copying entity straight to inserters and pumps would save a tons of time and almost fully removes manual inserter filtering.

If I copy from a machine crafting one of Biochamber, Oil refinery, Biolab, Rocket silo, Power armor MK2, Mech armor, Portable fusion reactor, or Rocket turret, and paste it to an inserter, what would you expect to be copied as filters?
They all have five or more ingredients, so you can't set filter to product and all ingredients. Portable fusion reactor has six ingredients, so not even all ingredients can be applied.
What about a recipe that has more products than five, like recycling?
Similarly with the pump. How do you choose which fluid involved with a recipe to apply?

I am a bit confused here. When I paste settings meant for buildings, the inserter filters are changed. (Maybe because I am on Experimental?)
I would like an option to disable this for various targets. Like Inserters.

When you wire chest and check "set filter", inserter takes maximum amount it can take. Still giving 5/6 filters automatically is much better than 0/6 and manually select filters. It would just use current picking without wire setting
