[2.0.23] Storage chests won't set parameter in logistic filter if quality range is specified.

There is an issue with the storage chest logistic filter slot not setting or allowing a filter for items to have a quality range, i.e. any item that's less than or equal to rare quality. This just makes the logistic filter slot empty when attempting to set a filter when using parameters. This would be a useful addition and make quality parameterized blueprints like this one here (Factorio Prints link) to help streamline the use of storage chests filtering and help keep logistic storage more organized and clean. Rather than having excess items of various qualities clog up logistic storages, this would allow a designated storage locations be set automatically for each build. Especially considering you can set parameterized filters, this limit doesn't feel like it adds anything gameplay wise. Rather it adds a level of tedium when trying to do anything bot based with quality and you want to set filters for quality ranges. Currently you'd need to go and set the filters yourself after the fact or build a dedicated section of storage to handle the excess of items when you are doing base redesigns, which would then need you to go and handle the items yourself anyway because the system wouldn't allow various quality items to be stored in modules like in the link.

tl;dr it'd be a good qol addition to allow specified quality ranges like "less than rare quality" of an item to be set in the logistic filter slot of yellow logistic storage chests, both manually setting the filter or letting a parameter set it, for storage organization purposes.

This looks more of an idea / suggestion, than a bug.
See Please add "Quality: Any" filter to more chests.

Oop, yeah that was put in the wrong board, could a mod please move this thread to the right board please? As for the suggested link, that is for any quality, what I was suggesting is to include the use of the math operators for better control of that. Sometimes when you make an item quality factory you want it to be within a certain quality range. The linked blueprint is a good example of a type of factory that would want this functionality as it includes helper modules that are used to create quality components for what you are trying to make, and there are examples of where you would want a certain range of qualities as a focus.

If the current version of the blueprint is used, you'd notice that it has passive providers, which yes wouldn't need this functionality. However with this functionality, that would allow the blueprint to use it's original storage medium, the yellow logistic storage chest, as a way to keep logistic storage better organized. This is especially useful on planets like Fulgora where sorting out and recycling things with quality would be most used is most easily done with a bot based base. Considering that using quality and Fulgora recycling, and the limited space of Fulgora islands, space can end up being a premium when trying to build a bot based factory.
