You are waiting for a dropship from earth, and have laserturrets to defend your base.

Why don't you have the possibility to cross water?

My Suggestion is:
Add Offshore Transportbelts and Offshore Rails!

These are special Types needing some extra resources (e.g. Steel Plates) and can be placed on water. Once placed on Water you can walk over them and Transport items/let run Trains over them.

Hope you guys like the Idea.

Ohh, sorry for resuggesting, i looked a bit into the thread, but was far too lazy to read every topic in this thread ... Like in Factorio

Even Factorio trailer features a railroad bridge, I think this should be implementer sooner than later : )
